Dia de los Muertos at Grand Park
November 01, 2014

Dia de los Muertos honors the dead and celebrates life, and Grand Park helps along with the latter goal with a spirited celebration of music, art and tradition.

On Saturday, November 1, from 3-10 pm, Grand Park holds its Downtown Dia de los Muertos Concert, which caps off a week of community-made altar displays in the park. Come through Downtown LA to make offerings at the Community Altar, then stay for music by La Chamba and Palenke Soultribe, dance performances by the Grandeza Mexicana Folk Ballet Company, and more.

For those of you headed to Grand Park via a Metro bus or train, show your valid TAP card/Metro ID/LA County ID at our information desk and receive a $2 coupon for any vendor in the Market. Offer only valid November 1, 2014.
