                                                                         present……

                                        "The Godfather"

Vintage Los Angeles returns to the Million Dollar Theatre for a film unlike any other -- director Frances Ford Coppola's masterwork, "The Godfather" will unfold its mafia family drama against the stunning backdrop of the historic theatre.

SPECIAL GUEST: VLA's Alison Martino, whose father Al Martino played Johnny Fontane in the film, will open the evening with a conversation alongside special guest, LA Times film critic Kenneth Turan, at 7:30 p.m. Turan will also meet film fans and sign copies of his new book "Not To Be Missed: Fifty-Four Favorites From A Lifetime of Film," which features a chapter on "The Godfather," in the lobby of the Million Dollar Theatre between 7:00-7:30 p.m. The screening begins at 8 p.m.

Come and celebrate LA's rich film history at this special screening at the landmark Million Dollar Theatre, the first movie palace built by Sid Grauman. Before the show, enjoy the food and culture next door at the iconic Grand Central Market - bringing Angelenos together through food since 1917.
