Man One Art Installation at Grand Central Market
April 30, 2015

Los Angeles-based street artist Man One and the Hola Mexico Film Festival have teamed up to transform the walls and pillars of Grand Central Market into a street art installation that will run from April 30 to May 17.

Known for his bold, vibrant murals that dress the streets of Los Angeles, Man One has been a pioneer for street artists for over a decade. In 2002, he founded the Crewest Gallery in Alhambra—which then migrated to Downtown Los Angeles in 2006—the first gallery in Los Angeles dedicated to exalting street art and graffiti into the realm of fine art. Man One states his life work is about "putting the power of art in the hands, hearts and minds of people all over the world."

Partnering with the Hola Mexico Film Festival—a celebration of Mexican film, food, music, art and culture— Man One's installation aims to celebrate his Mexican heritage and bring attention to the yearly festival. As a hotbed of culture and diversity, Grand Central Market stood out to the Hola Mexico Film Festival team as the perfect venue to showcase Man One's work. Come stop by the Market to enjoy the exhibit, located on the Hill Street platform!

Opening Night: April 30, 7 PM

Exhibit: April 30-May 17
