Kick off the holiday season with us on Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th at our pop-up marketplace showcasing local artisans and purveyors!

From 9am-6pm retail and culinary pop-ups will transform the Market's Hill Street platform into a festive emporium for all your holiday gift shopping. Pop-up participants include Brown Bag Books, Casa AmapazGrist & Toll FlourHedley & BennetInk+Smog, Jennifer Cheung and Yoko Kanayama Ceramics, Knead & Co. Pasta Bar + Market, MADE by DWC, M.Greenwood Jams, Spread the Love: Peanut Butter and YA Living. Be sure and stop by the LA Times on Saturday, December 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to pick your free copy of Jonathan Gold's 101 Best Restaurants of 2015. While you are there, get your souvenir photo taken at the front-page photo booth and grab some free LA Times holiday wrapping paper on your way out.

Grand Central Market vendors will be joining in on the festivities with holiday specials--challah from Clark Street Bread, Butternut Winter Clam Chowder from Bombo, artisanal food gift baskets from DTLA Cheese, champurrado and tamales from Chiles Secos and speciality chocolate boxes, fruitcakes and peppermint bark from Valerie at GCM

Throughout the day, the Market will also play host to a number of special musical guests, including the Grammy-nominated California Feetwarmers, steel drumming, a klezmer band, carolers, among others.

On Saturday night the merriment continues with a screening of Elf at the Million Dollar Theatre hosted by Yuletide Cinema. Purchase tickets here.

Last but not least, the Market will host a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus on Saturday from 1-3pm and Sunday from 11-2pm, as well as ornament and cookie decorating with Little Junebugs from 11-3pm on both days.
