Filipino Food Night at GCM
May 20, 2017

Saturday, May 20 | 4 - 9 p.m.

In conjunction with the preview screening of the Filipino food documentary, ULAM, at the Million Dollar Theatre, the Market will celebrate the eclectic mixture of flavors and ingredients of this vibrant cuisine. Guest chefs from the Filipino culinary scene will have pops-up or team up with Market chefs to offer visitors an exciting taste of favorite street foods, regional dishes and new creations inspired by traditional Filipino recipes.

ULAM (Main Dish) follows the rise of the Filipino food movement via the chefs crossing over to the center of the American table. Satisfy your Filipino food craving before or after the screening at the Market!

Filipino Food Night and the ULAM screening are part of the Los Angeles Times Food Bowl, the month-long festival celebrating the city's dynamic and influential food scene.
